First of all, Orgasmic has one of the best locations for a restaurant on the island. It's on a sunset-facing undeveloped beach, and is a snapshot in time of what Samui used to be like in the old days. As you're coming from Fisherman's Village in Bophut, it's at the far end of the cove (just past My Friend Bungalows) before the road bends right towards Ban Rak (Big Buddha Beach).
As you arrive, you'll be welcomed by Restaurant Manager, Pascal, himself a chef who's run several of his own eateries (in Cannes and St. Tropez). And with his experience and dedication to making every dining experience an excellent one, you're in very good hands!
And everywhere you look, the scene is lovely. There's the panoramic vista of the sea and rocky headland to the left, a huge old tree bedecked with numerous varieties of orchids straight ahead next to a fish pond, and a classic Thai pavilion to the right, which serves as the interior 40-seat section of the restaurant.
The menu is 'East-meets-West' cuisine.
With its idyllic location, excellent cuisine, great wines (starting at just 960 baht a bottle - even the Champagne Lombard is only 2,750 baht!) and friendly service, it really is orgasmic here and that's always a happy experience!
