Description

Chumphon Pinnacles sits at the northern most edge of Koh Tao a couple kilometres from shore. As the name suggests, this dive site is a cluster of 'pinnacles' that are of various sizes. The impressive rock formation begins 14m from the surface and descends to a maximum depth of 40m, making it an 'advanced' dive site requiring at least an Advanced Open Water certification (or the equivalent) in order to qualify for the dive. After your first dive at Chumphon Pinnacles, the second dive will be conducted somewhere around Koh Tao. Keep your eyes peeled for whale sharks, which are known to visit the Chumphon Pinnacles throughout the year.
