Ban Tai is a nice little beach located at the end of a lovely typical Thai Soi lined with small shops and quaint restaurants.
It has a mixture of local housing, holiday homes, with mostly long stay housing and some small resorts. The type of area for those who are interested in relaxing away from the tourist hubs. Many long term expatriates and visitors on extended leave residing in quaint bungalows along quiet Sois.
For those that would like a change for the day, this is nice little spot to get away from the busier beaches.
